Still-life paintings, acrylics, with Renoir, Picasso. "The colors in this still-life are beautiful, the paintings in the art books are beautiful and significant. I use books featuring the great artists of the past because I admire their work. Beyond this, the contrast between the paintings by Renoir and Picasso probably is the basis of the expressive meaning of the painting. The Renoir depicts human happiness and love, the Picasso loneliness and suffering. Surrounding the island of color created by the art books, is darkness…a black table and black background. But beauty reigns here."
