Pastels. "Landscape depicting the beauty of autumn. Jessie loves this view. Many of her paintings, so different from mine, celebrate this same vista of space, house, trees and mountains ('Red Sky' and 'Farmland Sunburst' are examples). We lived on this farm, and saw the house in the distance from a rise in the lane. The cedars again begin to assert themselves as the leaves of autumn turn colors and fall."
